One Year ago on May 16, the first Biggest Loser began

26 03 2013

Can you believe it? It has almost been a year!

On May 16, one year from our original weigh in, we are having a weigh in to see how you have done over this year. It will be great to see how much you have lost since May 16, 2012.

For those of us who have had a hard time this winter, we  have a month and a half to get back to where we were at the end of the Biggest Loser.

Get your healthy eating hats back on! The  weather is nicer (well..sometimes) so we can get back to walking and getting that exercise.

Will you be where you were at the end of the contest or will you have lost or gained?

Reminders will be sent out periodically.

Drawing for the money from the maintenance program

Everyone who maintained within 5 lbs of their beginning Maintenance weight was entered into a drawing for the money that was paid during the Maintenance Program – $106.00.

To All:  If you want to continue to weigh in just to keep yourself on track, you are welcome to.

Have a great day!!

30 01 2013

Only 1 week left for the Biggest Loser Maintenance Program!

Final weigh in date is February 6, 2013. Since this is the last weigh in: You have to weigh in next week to be eligible for the money. If you are not going to be here Weds, you may weigh in Monday or Tuesday. You may not weigh in after Wednesday.

If you have maintained (are within 5 lbs of your weight at the beginning of the Maintenance Program), you will receive $100.

If you have lost at least 1 lb, you will receive $5 per pound lost from your weight at the beginning of the Maintenance Program plus $100 for maintaining.

All participants who have maintained and are within 5 lbs of their beginning Maintenance Weight will be entered into a drawing for the pot (the money people have had to pay in) after final weight is determined.

This will conclude our SCTC  Biggest Loser Program. Those of you who would still like to loose weight and be held accountable by weighing in each week, let me know. There will not be money incentives or a structured program, but if  it will help keep you motivated toward reaching your goal it is an option.

Good luck on the final week!

Money will be paid through the normal A/P run;  it will most likely be in the A/P run the week after the final weigh in. It will be given to you as soon as I have it.

Today’s weigh in results

23 01 2013

Good Day All,

For Maintenance there are a couple people who are over the maintenance level but for the most part everyone is maintaining.

People who have lost from their beginning maintenance weight are:  Louis, Denise, Sandi and Cindy.

People who have lost from last week’s weigh in are: Louis, Denise, Sandi, Wes, Donna, DR, Peggy and Dale.

Keep up the hard work. It seems to be harder now that we have been into this almost a year. Can you believe that? Our very first weigh in was May 16…okay, so only 8 months. We can fight through the winter and the comfort food, we can prevail! All of you have done an awesome job!

Next Wednesday, January 30, is the next to last weigh in day. Same place, same time.

GOOD LUCK!

Challenge

16 01 2013

We have a challenge for those who still want to lose weight.  Some of us are having trouble losing when we are not competing…so for the next two weeks we are competing to see who can lose the most weight.

What is in it for you? Satisfaction of losing and getting closer to your goal weight and beat your team members.

If you want to compete, let me know and I will keep a separate log for those competing so I can tell ya who loses the most.

Challenge begins TODAY and ends January 30, which is only 1 week from the end of our Maintenance Program.
